Maude
Background Performer Booker
Maude’s professional musician mother instilled an appreciation for the arts and stage performance. In her early years, Maude was a musician whose bands had the honor of performing in the 2010 Olympics ceremonies, at Canucks hockey games, and in Disneyland, California.
Maude comes from a commission sales background where she was rewarded with expense-paid trips to work as a saleswoman around BC. The sales training she took provided free mental health books and seminars to encourage personal development and tenacity which she is extremely grateful to have had in her early twenties.
Since 2016, Maude has worked on film sets and has substantial industry experience. She became a talent booker in 2023 and takes pride in being extremely organized and nurturing positive relationships with other professionals. Due to her on-set experience, she is passionate about advocating for safe and inclusive film environments. She holds a Mental Health First Aid certification from NCMW and has completed training courses in conflict management, gender diversity, supporting gender-creative children, bystander intervention, and non-violent communication. This ever-expanding skill set inspires her to contribute meaningfully to set culture and advocate for cultural awareness, consensual practices, and healthy communication within the film industry.
Aside from work, she is “the cool aunt” to her nephew and two nieces. She enjoys seeing museums and architecture, unwinding with bubble tea and her cat, playing Smash Bros Ultimate, watching RuPaul’s Drag Race, and always seeking opportunities to learn and grow.
